Description

The Ancor Red/Black 16/2 AWG Flat Duplex Cable combines two marine-grade conductors in one flexible cable for lighting, electronics, pumps, and other DC circuits aboard boats. Red and black insulation simplifies polarity identification, while the flat profile helps the cable lie neatly behind panels and along bulkheads.

Ultra-flexible Type 3 tinned copper stranding resists corrosion and electrolysis while helping the cable withstand vibration and repeated flexing. The premium vinyl insulation remains flexible in extreme cold and protects against salt water, battery acid, oil, gasoline, ultraviolet exposure, heat, and abrasion.

The insulation is rated for 600V, 105°C dry, and 75°C wet. Ancor states that its Marine Grade wire exceeds UL 1426, ABYC, and applicable US Coast Guard charter-boat standards.
