The Ancor Red/Black 16/2 AWG Flat Duplex Cable combines two marine-grade tinned copper conductors in one flexible jacket for lighting, electronics, pumps, and other DC circuits. Red and black insulation simplifies polarity identification, while the flat profile helps the cable route neatly along panels and bulkheads.

Ultra-flexible Type 3 stranding helps resist corrosion, electrolysis, vibration, and repeated flexing. The premium vinyl insulation remains flexible in extreme cold and protects against salt water, battery acid, oil, gasoline, ultraviolet radiation, heat, and abrasion.

The insulation is rated for 600V, 105°C dry, and 75°C wet service. Ancor states that its Marine Grade wire exceeds UL 1426, ABYC, and applicable US Coast Guard charter-boat standards.
