Description

The Ancor Red/Black 12/2 AWG Flat Duplex Cable provides two marine-grade conductors in one flexible cable for DC circuits aboard boats. Red and black insulation makes polarity identification straightforward, while the flat profile helps the cable lie neatly along panels, inside raceways, and behind interior trim.

Ultra-flexible Type 3 tinned copper stranding improves corrosion resistance and helps the cable tolerate vibration and repeated movement. The premium vinyl insulation is engineered for marine service and remains flexible in extreme cold while resisting salt water, battery acid, oil, gasoline, heat, abrasion, and ultraviolet exposure.

The insulation is rated for 600V, 105°C dry, and 75°C wet. Ancor states that its Marine Grade wire exceeds UL 1426, ABYC, and applicable US Coast Guard charter-boat requirements.
