Description

The Ancor Red 4 AWG Tinned Battery Cable provides marine-grade high-current wiring for positive battery leads, alternator circuits, charging systems, inverter feeds, and power distribution. Tinned copper stranding helps resist corrosion and electrolysis in wet, salty, and vibration-prone environments.

Ultra-flexible Type 3 construction makes the cable easier to route through battery compartments and machinery spaces while helping it withstand repeated flexing and vessel vibration. The premium vinyl insulation remains flexible in extreme cold and resists salt water, battery acid, oil, gasoline, ultraviolet radiation, heat, and abrasion.

The insulation is rated for 600V, 105°C dry, and 75°C wet service. Ancor states that the cable exceeds UL 1426, ABYC, and applicable US Coast Guard charter-boat standards.
