Description

The Ancor Red 4 AWG Tinned Battery Cable provides marine-grade wiring for positive battery, charging, inverter, and power-distribution circuits that need a flexible corrosion-resistant conductor. Tinned copper stranding helps protect against corrosion and electrolysis in saltwater and damp environments.

Ultra-flexible Type 3 construction makes the cable easier to route through machinery spaces and battery compartments while resisting fatigue caused by vibration and repeated flexing. The premium vinyl insulation remains flexible down to extremely cold temperatures and resists salt water, battery acid, oil, gasoline, ultraviolet radiation, heat, and abrasion.

The insulation is rated for 600V, 105°C dry, and 75°C wet service. Ancor states that its Marine Grade cable exceeds UL 1426, ABYC, and US Coast Guard charter-boat requirements.
