Description

The Ancor Red 4/0 AWG Battery Cable is built for extremely high-current marine DC circuits such as large battery banks, inverter connections, charging systems, and main power-distribution feeds. Tinned copper stranding helps protect the conductor against corrosion and electrolysis in wet and saltwater environments.

Ultra-flexible Type 3 construction makes this very large cable easier to route through battery compartments and machinery spaces while helping it resist fatigue caused by vibration and repeated flexing. The premium vinyl insulation remains flexible in extreme cold and resists salt water, battery acid, oil, gasoline, ultraviolet exposure, heat, and abrasion.

The insulation is rated for 600V, 105°C dry, and 75°C wet service. Ancor states that its Marine Grade wire exceeds UL 1426, ABYC, and applicable US Coast Guard charter-boat standards.
