Description

The Ancor Red 2 AWG Battery Cable is designed for high-current positive battery leads, alternator circuits, charging systems, inverter feeds, and marine power distribution. Tinned copper strands provide additional resistance to corrosion and electrolysis in wet and saltwater environments.

Ultra-flexible Type 3 construction makes the heavy conductor easier to route through battery compartments and machinery spaces while helping it resist fatigue caused by vibration and repeated movement. The premium vinyl insulation stays flexible in extreme cold and resists salt water, battery acid, oil, gasoline, ultraviolet radiation, heat, and abrasion.

The insulation is rated for 600V, 105°C dry, and 75°C wet service. Ancor states that its Marine Grade cable exceeds UL 1426, ABYC, and applicable US Coast Guard charter-boat requirements.
