Description

The Ancor Red 14 AWG Tinned Copper Wire is designed for positive DC wiring in marine electrical systems, including lighting, pumps, electronics, controls, and accessory circuits. Tinned copper strands help resist corrosion and electrolysis in wet and saltwater environments.

Ultra-flexible Type 3 construction improves routing through electrical panels, consoles, and machinery spaces while helping the conductor withstand vibration and repeated flexing. Ancor’s premium vinyl insulation remains flexible in extreme cold and resists salt water, battery acid, oil, gasoline, ultraviolet radiation, heat, and abrasion.

The insulation is rated for 600V, 105°C dry, and 75°C wet service. Ancor states that its Marine Grade wire exceeds UL 1426, ABYC, and applicable US Coast Guard charter-boat requirements.
