Description

The Ancor Red 10 AWG Tinned Copper Wire is designed for positive DC wiring in marine electrical systems, including pumps, lighting, electronics, charging circuits, and accessory feeds. Tinned copper stranding helps protect the conductor from corrosion and electrolysis in wet and saltwater environments.

Type 3 ultra-flexible construction makes the wire easier to route through panels and machinery spaces while helping it withstand vibration and repeated bending. The premium vinyl insulation stays flexible in extreme cold and resists salt water, battery acid, oil, gasoline, ultraviolet exposure, heat, and abrasion.

The insulation carries a 600V rating and is suitable for 105°C dry and 75°C wet service. Ancor states that its Marine Grade wire exceeds UL 1426, ABYC, and applicable US Coast Guard charter-boat standards.
