Description

The Ancor Red 10 AWG Tinned Copper Wire is designed for positive DC wiring in marine electrical systems, including pumps, lighting, electronics, charging circuits, and accessory feeds. Tinned copper strands help protect against corrosion and electrolysis in wet and saltwater environments.

Ultra-flexible Type 3 construction improves routing through panels and machinery spaces while helping the conductor withstand vibration and repeated flexing. The premium vinyl insulation stays flexible in extreme cold and resists salt water, battery acid, oil, gasoline, ultraviolet exposure, heat, and abrasion.

The insulation is rated for 600V, 105°C dry, and 75°C wet service. Ancor states that its Marine Grade wire exceeds UL 1426, ABYC, and applicable US Coast Guard charter-boat standards.
