Description

The Ancor Green 8 AWG Tinned Copper Wire provides marine-grade wiring for grounding, bonding, and other circuits where green conductor identification is appropriate. Tinned copper strands help resist corrosion and electrolysis in wet and saltwater environments.

Ultra-flexible Type 3 construction makes the conductor easier to route through machinery spaces, electrical panels, and confined compartments while helping it withstand vibration and repeated flexing. The premium vinyl insulation remains flexible in extreme cold and resists salt water, battery acid, oil, gasoline, ultraviolet radiation, heat, and abrasion.

The insulation is rated for 600V, 105°C dry, and 75°C wet service. Ancor states that its Marine Grade wire exceeds UL 1426, ABYC, and applicable US Coast Guard charter-boat standards.
