Description

The Ancor Green 18 AWG Tinned Copper Wire provides marine-grade wiring for grounding, bonding, control, and other low-current circuits where green conductor identification is appropriate. Tinned copper stranding helps protect the wire against corrosion and electrolysis in damp and saltwater environments.

Ultra-flexible Type 3 construction improves routing through electrical panels, consoles, and confined compartments while helping the conductor resist fatigue from vibration and repeated flexing. The premium vinyl insulation remains flexible in extreme cold and resists salt water, battery acid, oil, gasoline, ultraviolet exposure, heat, and abrasion.

The insulation is rated for 600V, 105°C dry, and 75°C wet service. Ancor states that its Marine Grade wire exceeds UL 1426, ABYC, and applicable US Coast Guard charter-boat requirements.
