Description

The Ancor Black 8 AWG Battery Cable provides marine-grade wiring for DC-negative battery leads, charging circuits, inverter connections, and higher-current distribution runs. Tinned copper stranding helps protect the conductor against corrosion and electrolysis in wet and saltwater environments.

Ultra-flexible Type 3 construction makes the cable easier to route through battery compartments and machinery spaces while helping it resist vibration and repeated flexing. The premium vinyl insulation remains flexible in extreme cold and resists salt water, battery acid, oil, gasoline, ultraviolet exposure, heat, and abrasion.

The insulation is rated for 600V, 105°C dry, and 75°C wet service. Ancor states that its Marine Grade cable exceeds UL 1426, ABYC, and applicable US Coast Guard charter-boat standards.
