The Ancor Black 6 AWG Tinned Copper Wire is built for marine DC circuits that need a flexible, corrosion-resistant conductor for negative feeds, grounding, charging, or power distribution. Tinned copper stranding provides additional protection against corrosion and electrolysis in damp and saltwater environments.

Ultra-flexible Type 3 construction makes the 6 AWG conductor easier to route through machinery spaces and electrical compartments while helping it withstand vibration and repeated flexing. The premium vinyl insulation remains flexible in extreme cold and resists salt water, battery acid, oil, gasoline, ultraviolet exposure, heat, and abrasion.

The insulation is rated for 600V, 105°C dry, and 75°C wet service. Ancor states that its Marine Grade wire exceeds UL 1426, ABYC, and applicable US Coast Guard charter-boat standards.
