Description

The Ancor Black 2 AWG Tinned Battery Cable is designed for high-current negative battery connections, charging circuits, inverter feeds, and power-distribution wiring aboard boats. Tinned copper strands improve resistance to corrosion and electrolysis in damp and salty marine environments.

Type 3 ultra-flexible construction makes the cable easier to route through tight compartments and around bends while helping it withstand vibration and repeated flexing. The premium vinyl insulation remains flexible in severe cold and resists salt water, battery acid, oil, gasoline, ultraviolet radiation, heat, and abrasion.

The insulation is rated for 600V, 105°C dry, and 75°C wet service. Ancor states that its Marine Grade cable exceeds UL 1426, ABYC, and applicable US Coast Guard charter-boat standards.
