Description

The Ancor Black 2 AWG Battery Cable provides heavy-duty marine wiring for negative battery connections, inverter feeds, charging circuits, and main DC power distribution. Tinned copper stranding helps resist corrosion and electrolysis in damp and saltwater environments.

Ultra-flexible Type 3 construction improves routing through confined battery compartments and machinery spaces while helping the cable withstand vibration and repeated flexing. The premium vinyl insulation remains flexible in extreme cold and resists salt water, battery acid, oil, gasoline, ultraviolet exposure, heat, and abrasion.

The insulation is rated for 600V, 105°C dry, and 75°C wet service. Ancor states that the cable exceeds UL 1426, ABYC, and applicable US Coast Guard charter-boat standards.
