The Ancor Black 10 AWG Tinned Copper Wire provides marine-grade wiring for DC-negative, grounding, accessory, and distribution circuits aboard boats. Tinned copper strands help resist corrosion and electrolysis, making the wire well suited to damp, salty, and vibration-prone environments.

Ultra-flexible Type 3 stranding allows the conductor to route more easily through electrical panels, machinery spaces, and long cable runs while resisting fatigue from repeated flexing. Ancor’s premium vinyl insulation remains flexible in extreme cold and resists salt water, battery acid, oil, gasoline, ultraviolet radiation, heat, and abrasion.

The insulation is rated for 600V, 105°C dry, and 75°C wet service. Ancor states that its Marine Grade wire exceeds UL 1426, ABYC, and applicable US Coast Guard charter-boat requirements.
