Description

The Ancor 16/2 AWG Safety Duplex Cable combines red and yellow Marine Grade conductors in one white common jacket for DC circuits aboard boats. The red/yellow color scheme follows ABYC recommendations and helps distinguish DC wiring from black AC hot conductors in boats that also use shore power, generators, or inverters.

Ultra-flexible Type 3/Class K stranding helps the conductors resist fatigue from vibration and repeated flexing. The outer jacket is designed for easy removal while providing strong abrasion resistance, simplifying termination without sacrificing protection during cable routing.

Ancor’s premium vinyl insulation remains flexible in extreme cold and resists salt water, battery acid, oil, gasoline, ultraviolet radiation, heat, and abrasion. It is rated for 600V, 105°C dry, and 75°C wet service, and the inner conductors are correctly color-coded to ABYC standards.
