Description

The Ancor 16-14 AWG Heat Shrink Butt Connectors create sealed inline splices for marine wiring exposed to moisture, vibration, oil, chemicals, and sunlight. The 500-pack is well suited to production installations, large refits, and service departments that make frequent weather-resistant electrical repairs.

Cross-linked polyolefin tubing provides greater toughness than standard PVC insulation and includes a heat-activated adhesive lining. When heated properly, the tubing shrinks tightly around the wire insulation and the adhesive forms a protective seal while adding strain relief.

Tinned copper provides corrosion resistance, pure copper supports current flow, and the brazed seam strengthens the connector body. These connectors are UL Listed and CSA Recognized. The high shrink ratio helps the sleeve seal closely around the completed splice.
