Description

The ACR SM-3 SOLAS Lifebuoy Marker Light is a high-intensity LED strobe delivering 360-degree visibility across roughly 2 miles. This compact, durable marker light triggers rescue by automatically activating and strobing once in the water, running over 40 hours at 86°F or over 24 hours at 30°F.

It’s a strong fit anywhere a dependable overboard marker matters, commercial marine, petro-marine work, cruising boats, whatever the setting, the SM-3 floats upright in every condition, keeping it shining exactly when you need it most.

It never dips below 3 candelas across its entire operating life, so every flash still marks the site clearly. It rights itself automatically and activates in the water, so nobody in the water has to fumble with a switch while things are going wrong. It runs on 2 user-replaceable AA lithium batteries, which outlasts the throwaway lifebuoy lights most competitors sell.

A mounting bracket, included, keeps it locked down through rough weather yet still within easy reach when it’s needed. Approved under USCG, MED, and SOLAS internationally, it satisfies the self-igniting lifebuoy light requirement wherever those rules apply.
