ACR OLAS Exposure Orange Float-On MOB Light

Description

The ACR OLAS Exposure Series Float-On packs Overboard Location Alert System (OLAS) tracking into a buoyant, wearable unit that also functions as an LED flashlight, with a strobe that switches on when it hits water. Orange finish.

Its virtual tether to the OLAS app snaps if a transmitter goes out of range, and within 8 seconds the connected phone or tablet sounds an alert and records where it happened using its own GPS. From that point, OLAS points the crew back toward that exact spot using onscreen bearing data and visual cues, keeping a record of everything rescue services would want to see.

As a backup to the phone alarm, the strobe fires automatically once integrated water sensors detect 6 seconds of contact, flashing once per second for up to 20 hours and visible up to 3 nautical miles, a valuable extra tool for low-light rescues.

Compact and portable, the Float-On attaches easily to adults, children, pets, or objects like overboard flotation devices, and moves easily from boat to boat. Solo mode (requires 2G phone signal) adds protection when boating alone.
